About Franco
Maggie has been in the medical field for over eight years, starting out as a Nurse Extern at Mercy Dignity Hospital and worked there for over six years in Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic Clinic, Surgery and Medical Surgical Unit. While working for Dignity Health she was recognized as Nurse of the Year. In the past two years she worked as a Public Health Department Nurse.
Maggie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from California State University from Bakersfield in 2012. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in Education from Holy Names University in 2016 where she became a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She then completed her Nurse Practitioner at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in 2020 and became certified with America Academy of Nursw Practitioners in 2020 and joined CMG group in 2021.
In the past Maggie has volunteered by helping with CPR Awareness and while working as a Public Health Department Nurse she volunteered in the 2019 ridgecrest Earthquake. During her years as a PHN she collaborated with different affiliations to assist her patients with their needs.
Her past experience as a bedside nurse has shaped her practice to work with families and teach them about maximizing their health. Maggie’s main goal is treat her patients and their families with the same care as she would treat her own. Maggie is proud to be a Nurse Practitioner as she is ready to help the community with her skills. Maggie is fluent in Spanish.
